Extracurricular

One of my favorite extracurricular activities while attending Cook High School would have to be Varsity Basketball cheerleading. Simply because I love cheerleading. I always have, since my start of cheering at the age of ten. Cheering is like my own little get away. During my 8 years of cheerleading I have made new friends who are literally like family. We hang out outside of the season, share stories, and watch out for each other. I love how I can be myself around my cheer sisters. On the court we are no longer individuals, we are one. If even one person is not doing their part, it shows. Say someone is half doing a cheer, it will be very noticeable. I've also learned that a team will always reflect the type of coach you have.
